In a NutshellThe Senior Financial Analyst is an engaged and resulted-oriented strategic partner within our Finance team and across department functions. In this role the Senior Financial Analyst would be responsible for variance analysis, completing forecasts and budgets, financial reporting, and producing ad-hoc analysis for management. What You'll Do: Lead and coordinate monthly financial forecasts, including relevant/critical analysis and documentation of major assumptions/variances.Review and analyze monthly results and provide relevant/critical analysis of unusual items and variances to accounting and financial and operational management, and initiates appropriate follow-up.Lead and coordinate a 3-year business plan and annual operating budget, including relevant/critical analysis and documentation of major assumptions/variances.Meet with sales reps to review profitability and provide coaching on financial levers to drive profitability.Maintain productive partnership and collaborate with key departments (Planning, Sales, Marketing, etc.), providing actionable, forward-looking analytics and recommendations that result in enhanced business outcomes.Assure operating plans, budgets and forecasts are prepared in a timely and realistic manner, with appropriate collaboration with department management and aligned with company objectives.Partner with division/operational management to assure financial goals and objectives are achieved and identify risks and opportunities on an on-going basis.Actively engage in continual process improvement relating to sales and margin forecasting, customer profitability, inventory planning and balance sheet modeling. Share findings with finance team.Proactively develop ad-hoc financial analysis as necessary for operating division and financial management. What You'll Bring to the Team: CPA or MBA are preferred.3-5 years related Financial/Accounting experience as a Financial Analyst.Wholesale/retail/direct to consumer industry experience strongly preferred.Experience in operating finance, financial planning & analysis, budget & forecasting.Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, v-lookups, and ability to link spreadsheets.Enterprise system experience, particularly related to business planning and analysis (SAP, Dynamics 365, etc.) required.Proven ability to create and improve process within Accounting and Finance.Strong business acumen.Ability to learn quickly.Strong organizational, communication and computer skills.
