Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM including the flexibility to work occasional overtime based on business need. Our office is located at 3950 CIVIC CENTER DR, STE 200, SAN RAFAEL, CA, 94903. We offer 90 days of training.Primary Responsibilities:

• Sort department correspondence and scan into queues daily for representatives to work
• Redirect miscellaneous items to the correct departments
• Receive EOB and payment batches from cash posters, complete indexing and scan into patient accountsYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
  • 1+ years of experience in the medical billing field
  • Knowledge of working in a patient financial setting, physician's office
  • Understanding of EOB's & authorizations
  • Proficient with using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work 40 hours / week including the flexibility to work occasional overtime based on business need
  • Ability to work any shift between the hours of 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

    • Experience with EPIC OR ParagonSoft Skills:
      • Detail oriented, a fast learner, and a problem solver
      • Mentally and physically organized; this job involves a lot of paperwork
      • Ability to work independently; Self - starter, has an ability to manage workflow and prioritize items based on daily volumes
