San Rafael, CA, USA Job Requisition ID #20WD43966 Position Overview This is an amazing opportunity to lead our newly created industry marketing and campaign content team. As the Vice President of Industry and Campaign Content you will be the marketing strategist who develops the marketing strategy and plans to achieve Autodesk's industry strategy initiatives. This role will be responsible for developing an integrated marketing plan (IMP).You will develop the integrated marketing plan for the company ensuring best practices are implemented across all industry plans. You will develop compelling industry content to be used across multiple marketing channels to help drive acquisition, nurture, conversion and retention of prospects and customers. You will work closely with our Global Demand Generation organization to ensure compelling, timely and impactful campaign content is developed and delivered.You will work closely with the web team to deliver compelling content for online experiences for all of our personas.You will work closely with colleagues to ensure the right content is delivered to the right personal at the right time in the customer journey. You will also be expected to provide leadership for the creation of and execution of the global strategic industry marketing plans. You will work closely with peers to ensure tracking and measurement and ROI of marketing investment is continually improved. You will partner with Industry Strategy leaders to ensure close alignment of marketing plans to industry strategies. You and your team will closely partner with Product Verticals to manage presence at major events including AU and OTC/OTX (Autodesk's annual Sales and Service kick off meeting). You will be a key member of the BSM leadership team, manage a team of 200+ professionals and report to the Chief Marketing Officer Responsibilities

  • Develop recruits, motivates and mentors a high performing team of marketeers across our diverse landscape
  • Develop the market requirements, buyer personas, and segmentation details/definitions necessary for product and content strategy, sales enablement, and field marketing execution
  • Create and execute campaigns with demand generation team
  • Monitor all marketing campaigns and improve them as necessary. Establish metrics for the measurement of marketing program effectiveness
  • Partner with internal teams such as industry strategic teams, product, sales and customers to uncover latent customer needs, understand customer perceptions, and discover intangibles that have true value for customers
  • Understand the industry and unique personas and use cases for key verticals
  • Assist in analyzing existing product and markets in terms of the ability to compete, gain market share, grow revenue and sustain or grow profitability
  • Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders in Sales, other parts of Marketing, Product, Sales Enablement, and Customer Success
  • Build scalable data-driven business plans and strategies
  • Leverage deep content services, information governance and security experience to drive strategic planning, developing actionable industry marketing vision and execute growth strategies against multiple product and solution offerings
  • Develop compelling messaging that resonates with prospects, customers, and partners, and differentiates Company from the competition
  • Develop value-based industry positioning and pricing for all solution offerings in collaboration with product management
  • Establish industry messaging that sets products, solutions and services apart from others in the market to provide unique competitive differentiation
  • Oversee ongoing competitive intelligence initiatives and market analysis to identify opportunities to differentiate Company solutions--
  • Communicate the vision and value of products to the sales team and develop sales tools that facilitate the selling process
  • Partner with leaders across the business (e.g. sales, product, industry, services or channel management) to design an aligned set of strategies, tactics and resources that achieve corporate objectives
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis identify new market opportunities
  • Lead the technical marketing and create best practice for each of the vertical groups, as well as responsible for providing best practices across industry Minimum Qualifications
    • 10+ years' experience Product Marketing B2B experience, including 5 years creating and leading an organization's product and portfolio marketing strategy
    • 8+ years leading teams of 10 or more direct reports and mentoring leaders
    • Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline
    • Analytical expertise, especially around marketing insights
    • Knowledge of major ERP software, marketing technology stacks, and other SaaS tools
    • Demonstrated ability to assemble and interpret data, create executive summaries, and deliver actionable business insights
    • Able to run globalization for complex product marketing, and work effectively cross-functionally around the world - including building strong relationships remotely
    • Experience working in a matrixed environment Preferred Qualifications
