Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A
school-based Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is
available in Watsonville, CA, to serve a regional preschool special
education school. This position offers the chance to work with a
diverse caseload of approximately 50 students, ages 3 to 5, during
the current and upcoming school years. Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to
preschool-aged children. Collaborate effectively with two other
SLPs to develop and implement individualized education plans
(IEPs). Conduct assessments, monitor progress, and adjust therapies
to meet student needs. Participate in multidisciplinary team
meetings and contribute to the school community. Maintain accurate
documentation and reporting in compliance with state and federal
regulations. Qualifications: Active Speech and Language Pathologist
license in California. Experience working with preschool-aged
children in educational settings. Strong communication and
interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, families, and
staff. Ability to manage a caseload of 50 students effectively.
Commitment to supporting the developmental needs of young learners
with speech and language challenges. Location: Watsonville,
California Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Contract Duration: Immediate start through the end of the 2025-2026
school year, with likely extension into the 2026-2027 school year.
