You'll work with our staff and your counterparts in fellow CCA agencies around the state to advance our mission and provide value to our agency and the communities we serve. The Human Resources team is evolving and offers the opportunity to further build a team focused on providing exceptional human resource services that support our agency and our employees' success. WHAT YOU'LL DO The Manager of Human Resources, Diversity, and Inclusion will be responsible for managing aspects of the Human Resources function for MCE. She or he will have the opportunity to lead a team of HR professionals to meet MCE's strategic objectives and support its managers and employees. Reporting to the Director of Internal Operations, the successful candidate will be responsible for mastering existing systems and practices, introducing innovations and building out the department's capabilities in the areas of HR systems, recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and learning and development. She or he will coordinate work with appropriate consultants and internal resources to build out HR systems and to manage compensation and benefits. She or he will demonstrate the vision, strategy, and follow-through necessary to lead the growth and transformation of our team into a world-class HR department that is a force for positive change across our growing organization. D UTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES With support from outside consultant(s), oversee implementation and enhancement of HRIS database and features including HR data, performance management, career development compensation management, open enrollment, timekeeping, payroll and reporting. Oversee team managing full-cycle recruiting process; identify opportunities and lead improvement initiatives related to employer brand management, candidate sourcing, interviewing best practices, and candidate evaluation to ensure MCE is employing the best and brightest in the industry. With support from outside consultant(s), develop and manage various company programs such as training, professional development, performance management, and employee engagement. With the support of outside consultant(s) and HR staff, design and administer benefits programs, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401A, STD/LTD and COBRA eligibility as well as MCE's time off programs and other benefits. Provide coaching, counseling, and guidance regarding complex employee relations issues. Conduct investigations, escalating matters as appropriate. With support from outside compensation management consultants and platforms, manage and improve MCE's compensation plan with an emphasis on fairness and transparency. Ensure compliance with employment practice laws; interpret applicable laws and regulations and make recommendations that are consistent with MCE's culture and that minimize risk. Manage external vendor and partner relationships for HR, benefits, and other services.
