In a NutshellThe Senior Director, Creative is a leader and high collaborator who brings the Vionic brand to life across every touch point. This role delivers inspirational creative to help the company achieve its marketing and brand building objectives including fostering a mindset of developing a dialogue with our customers. The role oversees the Creative Marketing Team and external resources, ensuring all consumer and trade marketing (including consumer and corporate websites, video, digital and offline/print advertising, partner collateral, packaging, trade shows/training and marketing programs) consistently reflect the brand message and retain the highest quality of design and artistry to inspire our customers. In this role, you will embrace marketing analytics to develop creative ideas that bring "the art" and "the science" together to achieve KPIs and revenue targets. Your proven track record in leading a creative team with drive and passion will make a strong impact. You will also manage tight deadlines, resources and team engagement along side directing the creative vision.

What You'll Do:

  • Be accountable for a creating consistent brand vision and storytelling that captures our brand differentiators. Collaborate with President, SVP Global Digital and Brand, VP Global Digital, Director, Brand Marketing, Product, Merchandising and other peers to translate those into campaigns ensuring inspirational, high quality, and consistent creative design across all channels and media.
  • Collaborate to prioritize initiatives and allocate creative resources appropriately, balancing multiple seasons and meeting all deadlines. Ensure production standards are appropriate to UX design and marketing channels.
  • Oversee all aspects of photography from casting to post-production across on model ecommerce, lay-downs, digital and social, national ads, and across channels domestically, expanding to a global footprint. Provide best practices/standards for any authorized video or photo shoots managed by other areas in order to maintain brand consistency.
  • Manage Creative budget with keen accuracy and forecasts while identifying any gaps.
  • Develop and execute seasonal/monthly/weekly campaigns across web site, digital advertising, email/CRM, social, print, retail/partners, trade shows aligning with brand and product stories.
  • Secure and manage creative and production resources (internal or external) to develop creative concepts used in all visual communication including digital, video, print, catalog (consumer and trade show), packaging and retail; research & recommend cost-effective solutions.
  • Work with Product team and packaging supplier(s) to maintain ongoing quality standards and optimize pricing.
  • Manage team in maintaining and tracking usage rights (talent, music, graphics, etc.) to ensure compliance with contract terms.
  • Oversee internal and external approval process, including the approval of copy, layouts, final artwork, retouching, proofs and printed samples.

    What You'll Bring to the Team:

    • Strong understanding of brand development and multichannel marketing, with fashion ecommerce and retail experience - deep experience across brand, ecommerce, photography, graphic design, CRM emails, offline/print, catalog and digital marketing.
    • Minimum 10+ years in Creative discipline with an emphasis on ecommerce/digital.
    • Excellent leadership skills with 5-7 years of leading Creative teams.
    • Ability to provide clear creative direction and provide timely and constructive feedback to improve processes.
    • Comprehensive awareness in new platforms and technologies for the digital channel.
    • Intimate understanding of design copy and web best practices.
    • Strong ecommerce experience required, with both online and print.
    • Strong team development skills and ability to be a coach/mentor and develop talent.
