Marin Community Clinics is looking for a Lead Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. The Lead Registered Dental Assistant oversees and monitors the work flow of the dental assistants, orders supplies and maintains equipment. Work Schedule Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 5:30pm - 9:30pm and Saturday from 8:00am - 5:00pm Benefits Our mission informs our approach to your benefits program. Salary Range and Shift Differential Salary for this position is dependent on education, license, certification and years of experience. Evening and weekend shifts (4 hours) with direct patient contact, include a 10% pay differential in addition to regular pay. Evening differential is paid only for completed 4 hour shifts that begin after 4:00pm. Responsibilities Oversees and monitors the day to day work flow of the dental assistants. Participates in the hiring, selection and retention of back office staff. Maintains adequate works schedules for the dental assistants. Delegates daily workloads and tasks fairly among dental assistants. Maintains smooth work flow between dentists, assistants and patients. Reports any incidents, clinic concerns, or changes to the Back or Front Office supervisors or Dental Director. Lead RDA will also perform regular dental assisting job functions and duties. Ensures compliance with OSHA, Dental Board, and WDS policies and procedures. Oversees maintenance of dental supplies and inventory, stock supplies in operatories, restrooms, lab, etc as needed. Ensures proper maintenance of patient treatment records. Leads, inspires and motivates back office staff. Participates in regular operational meetings. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Must have X-ray license. 1 - 2 years of supervisory experience. Current Dental Assistant registration in CA. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced dental environment. Detail oriented, organized, professional with ability to multi-task. Ability to use state of the art computer systems. Experience working in a multilingual/multicultural setting.
