The Pet Emergency and Specialty Center of Marin (www.pescm.com)
is looking for a Full Time Client Service Coordinator (CSC) to join
our weekday Swing emergency department! This is a Full-Time
position, Monday-Thursday, from 4PM-230AM. About PESCM: PESCM,
located in San Rafael, is the only 24/7 emergency and specialty
practice in Marin County. We continue to see record breaking cases
in all departments: Internal Medicine, Oncology, Surgery,
Neurology, Urgent Care, Emergency, Emergency/Critical Care, and
Cardiology. Our mission is to serve pets and people by continually

and ourselves. PESCM utilizes the cloud-based management software
system, Ezyvet, which integrates with an iPad accessible patient
treatment sheet software, Smartflow, for a paperless billing system

appreciation, compassion, and dedication. About the Job: The CSC is
responsible for a variety of daily tasks and skills such as but not
limited to: initiating a client-check-in on the patients coming
into the ER, triaging those who need immediate care and providing
an appropriate wait time for those who are less critical and/or
stable, creating estimates for treatments and diagnostics and
ensuring these are executed by the nursing team, calling back
owners with medical questions, filling prescriptions, and acting as
a liaison between the nursing staff in the treatment area and the
client service representatives in the front of house. This is a
position that requires an ability to: multi-task, give direction to
others, effectively communicate to doctors, staff, and clients, and
to self-direct. While this position does not require any veterinary
technical skills, having a comfortable understanding of veterinary
medicine is important. Skills and Qualifications:Cultivate a
positive atmosphere, demonstrate a friendly and courteous attitude
with all coworkers throughout the hospital to maintain a cohesive
work teamMaintain excellent communication skills to ensure
professionalism and effectiveness in all interactions with clients
and coworkers throughout the hospitalMust have the ability to
multitask, prioritize, and delegateDemonstrate proficiency in
computer skills including learning our current software platforms:

efficiency and accuracy in all transactionsAble work in high stress
situations and exercise good judgment as neededPresent a neat,
well-groomed appearanceMust be available to work nights, holidays,
