Job Description

The primary focus of the Pediatrician is to provide quality care to the diverse patient population. The ideal candidate should have a desire to work with under-served communities and a passion for health education and primary care.



Details:

Permanent, full-time position

Federally Qualified Health Center

Excellent multidisciplinary team of professionals

Ability to see up to 20 patients

Provide outpatient services for pediatric patients

Care for pediatric patients, ages 0-18

Conduct routine well-child care visits, urgent care, and follow-up appointments

Provide supervision and consultation to mid-level pediatric practitioners

Conduct pediatric inpatient hospital rounds

Participate in quality management activities as assigned by the Medical Director

Participate in the direction and development of health care services

Qualifications

Direct patient care experience in a community health or primary care setting

Bilingual Spanish required

Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from an accredited school

Completion of a three-year pediatrics residency

Valid and unrestricted California license

Current DEA registration

Current BLS certification

Experience with EHRs a plus
