Full Time Overview: The Physical Therapist delivers in-home therapy
services to individuals experiencing neurological and
musculoskeletal conditions, following the guidance of a physician.
This role necessitates a valid license, experience in acute or home
care settings, and strong skills in assessment, communication, and
scheduling. The ability to work autonomously is essential.
Responsibilities include providing patient care, managing
emergencies, traveling to patient residences, and collaborating
with healthcare professionals while ensuring confidentiality is

physical therapy services for patients with neurological and/or
musculoskeletal issues, under physician supervision. Position
Details: Physical Therapist - Home Care 40 hours per week, Day
shifts Location: Jefferson Hospital Festus, MO 63028 We provide
in-home physical therapy services to patients with neurological
and/or musculoskeletal disorders, guided by a physician.
Qualifications: Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited
physical therapy program. Licensure: Current state license and a
valid driver's license are required. Experience: A minimum of two
years in acute care or home care is preferred. Certifications: CPR
certification is necessary. Additional Requirements: Strong
assessment and treatment planning abilities. Energetic, personable,
and possesses effective time management and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and documentation capabilities. In good
physical condition, able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently, with
occasional lifting of more than 50 pounds. Must be capable of
working independently and managing emergencies without assistance.
Adaptable to change, proactive, and eager to learn while setting
ambitious goals. Ability to drive in challenging conditions; must
follow written or verbal instructions and navigate using maps.
Responsible for independently scheduling patient visits efficiently
and checking in with the office daily for updates. Participates in
weekend and on-call rotations, maintaining regular contact with
agency staff, physicians, hospital personnel, and the public.
