The Corporate Director of Food & Beverage will oversee management, budget and operation of the food and beverage function for all Mosaic Hotel Group restaurants, including both front and back of house operations. The Director of Food & Beverage will serve as the liaison to the home office to ensure maximum profitability and a delightful guest experience. Working with Restaurant General Managers and Executive Chefs, this position will focus on culinary and operational improvement & standards, team development & training, beverage programs & bar standards as well as partnering with our HR team for related field training. This is a field-based position. In addition, the Director of Food & Beverage will play a key role in the design and strategy of the food & beverage function within future hotel developments and acquisitions. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provide day to day support, guidance and leadership to our hotel restaurant General ManagersEvaluate and support restaurant operation results to include: service, beverage programs, property maintenance, cost management, etc.Collaborate with hotel General Managers in order to create synergies and enhance the guest experience overallExecute plans to continually improve restaurants' performanceIdentify future leaders and lead management development efforts within our restaurantsProvide onsite leadership during openings and relaunchesFill-in during temporary management vacanciesSpearhead company beverage programs, related development and educationIn conjunction with acquisition team, design and develop restaurant conceptsStay current on food & beverage trends and continually drive innovation within hotel restaurantsQUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function from the list above satisfactorily.
