JOB SUMMARY:The Human Resource Administrator will focus on
recruitment scheduling and various monthly billings/invoices. S/he
will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining the
recruitment processes. S/he will oversee benefits management and
time and attendance management. S/he will support the HR Director
in various department duties.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruitment:
- Post open positions
- Work with HR Director/Managers to update Job Descriptions as
necessary
- Manage Recruitment Software, Coordinate postings on Company
Website, and various other website accounts, such as LinkedIn
- Forward resumes to hiring manager and schedule interviews
- Conduct screening interviews as needed
- Extend employment offers and complete background check and
fingerprint process
- Process new hires by loading them into the IT Service Desk
system
- Conduct New Hire Orientations, in house and/or remotely
- Liaison to Recruiting Agency(s) to include processing pertinent
invoicesBenefits Administration:
- Process all monthly benefits invoices
- Audit benefit invoices on a quarterly basis
- Learn the full employee benefit process from enrollment to
termination, i.e., enrolling employees when eligible and
terminating employees as appropriate
- New Employee Benefits Orientation to include maintaining the
Ease Central platform
- Learn 401(k) processing, i.e. enrollment, participation, etc.HR
Compliance & General Administration:
- Maintain personnel files; filing
- Maintain New Hire packets and HR forms; hard copies and online
documents, for all pertinent States
- Process miscellaneous invoices as needed
- Help Coordinate various HR projects (company events, annual
performance reviews, etc.)
- Oversee the time and attendance system by adding new hires,
removing termed employees, updating pertinent changes, etc.
- Work with and oversee Facilities staff as needed
- Other duties as assignedPayroll Administration - Semi-monthly
processing:
- In the future, learn the payroll process in its entirety in
order to back-up the HR Director
- Comply with state and federal payroll requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 1-2 years Human Resource/Recruiting/Benefits/office
experience and/or a combination of experience/education.
- A.A./A.S. Degree in related field, preferred
- CPP or PHR Certification preferredKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND
ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of California and federal employment laws
- Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook; tech savvy
- ADP Payroll and Kronos experience is helpful.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with the ability
to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively interact with employees, managers, and
vendors
- Ability to work independently
