Robert Half is hiring a Payroll Specialist to its Fulltime Engagement Professionals program (formerly Salaried Professional Services). In this internal, permanent role at Robert Half, you will be partnering with our business partners throughout the San Francisco Bay area, completing special projects related to payroll processing. These longer-term engagements are great, as they give you exposure to a variety of different business situations, workplace environments, industry, software and more. Our Payroll Specialists generally do the following: Duties: - Audit employee timecards, checking for accuracy - Set up direct deposit for new employees - Bi-weekly payroll processing, including cutting checks - Process wage garnishments and calculate other payroll deductions - Calculate payroll taxes, support with annual payroll tax audit - Partner with Finance and HR department regarding weekly and monthly payroll reporting - Support benefit administration, applying benefits to employee profiles within an existing HRIS system - Track employee overtime, vacation payouts, benefits enrollment, etc. Robert Half, a Fortune 500 company, was voted one of Bay Area's Best Places to work in 2021! Requirements:- AA in Business or BS in Business preferred - 4+ years of payroll processing experience - Experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred
