Product Management, you will lead a dynamic team at the forefront
of building and expanding Pure’s next-generation AI and HPC
solutions. You will drive the development of cutting-edge products
and solutions to meet the growing demands of AI-driven workloads
and High-Performance Computing (HPC) environments, addressing a
multi-billion dollar addressable market. In this role, you will
spearhead Pure’s efforts to define and execute on the next wave of
storage innovation for AI and HPC, collaborating with leading
technology innovators, enterprise customers, and ecosystem partners
worldwide. Your strategic and technical vision will be instrumental
in shaping the future of data-centric infrastructure that powers
mission-critical AI applications and HPC workloads for global
industry leaders. You’ll leverage deep technical expertise and
market insights to create actionable engineering requirements,
guiding the implementation from concept to completion. Working
alongside a world-class engineering team, we’re looking for someone
who can merge technical depth with business acumen to act as a
transformative force in the AI and HPC markets. WHAT YOU’LL BE
DOING • Manage and mentor a team of highly skilled Product
Managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous
learning, and technical excellence. • Develop the strategy and
roadmap for AI and HPC solutions, ensuring alignment with market
needs, customer demands, and Pure’s business objectives. • Drive
execution of this strategy across on-premises, hybrid, and
cloud-native deployments to build a high-growth business. • Partner
with Product, Engineering, Go-to-Market (GTM), and Finance teams to
develop and drive AI and HPC-focused product initiatives. • Work
with Business Unit leadership and Finance to establish growth
targets and objectives for AI and HPC solutions. • Assess the
competitive and market landscape for AI and HPC from both technical
and business perspectives. • Anticipate and accurately predict
trends to maintain Pure’s leadership in the market. • Collaborate
with customers, partners, Sales, and Marketing to identify, define,
and articulate winning use-case-centric go-to-market models. •
Gather customer feedback to identify key issues, needs, and trends,
ensuring alignment with customer requirements. • Conduct market and
technology analyses to inform product development and identify new
opportunities in AI and HPC. • Engage with the executive team to
establish scope and goals for growth initiatives. • Serve as a key
spokesperson and evangelist for Pure Storage’s AI and HPC
solutions, delivering compelling presentations to internal and
external audiences. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE • 10
years of Product Management experience with a focus on enterprise
software, infrastructure or AI-related technologies. • 5 years of
experience in leadership managing teams of Product Managers and
cross-functional teams. • Strong technical aptitude with expertise
in AI/Ml technologies, architectures, and frameworks. • Deep
understanding of AI and HPC ecosystems, including knowledge of
technologies such as GPU acceleration, distributed training,
parallel file systems, and high-bandwidth networking (e.g., RDMA,
InfiniBand). • Track record of driving innovation and successfully
launching complex, market-leading products in large enterprise
environments. • Strong customer engagement skills with the ability
to identify use cases, resolve problems, and build trusted
relationships with customers and partners. • Analytical,
data-driven decision-maker with a bias for action and execution. •
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of
delivering concise and persuasive messaging. • Experience with
storage technologies and use cases such as NVMe, NFS, SMF,
FCP/iSCSI, data pipelines, and performance optimization is a plus
but not required. • Experience driving successful field marketing
programs and go-to-market strategies. • Bachelors degree in a
technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent
experience. MBA or advanced degree preferred. • We are primarily an
in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work
from the Santa Clara office in compliance with Pure’s policies,
unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
