Title: Production Support Engineer Location: New York, NY
(remote must be local to NYC) Duration: 12 month contract (long
term) Compensation: $50 - 65.00/hr Work Requirements: US Citizen,
GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.Job Description We are
looking for a Production Support Engineer to join our team. The
role provides technical support to various individuals who comprise
the features and television production environments. We support
various Apple products and services, from hardware to software, as
well as any specialized equipment required for the content creation
process. This is a very fast-paced and highly demanding technical
support environment. If you have a strong commitment to customer
success and a passion for making the production process easier
through technology, this position is for you. Key Qualifications
Technical Support: Experience supporting content creation workflows
within a production environment, encompassing the administration of
related hardware and diverse software applications Proficient in
supporting Mac product line, including iOS, OSX, and Windows
operating systems, plus other computer devices Accustom to
supporting technical customers to individuals in-person & remotely
Proficiency in overseeing Help Desk ticket monitoring, triage, and
effectively managing the support ticket lifecycle The capacity to
exhibit resourcefulness and adept troubleshooting skills across
diverse environments Skillfully bridges communication and work
coordination among diverse groups. Flourishes in a fast-paced,
ever-changing environment with multiple priorities. Exceptional
proficiency in written communication abilities coupled with
impeccable email etiquette Systems Administration/Networking:
Experience with administrating network storage types: NAS and SAN
(e.g., Jellyfish, QNAP, Quantum, Dell Isilon, G-RAID, etc.)
Baseline knowledge of networking. Fundamental understanding of IP
networking & general network security concepts. Baseline network
troubleshooting (TCP/IP, IPv4, Layer 2, Layer 3, VLAN) Duties and
Responsibilities Ability to effectively partner with team members
and stakeholders to provide Tier 1-2 support for internal and
externally supported software, processes, and systems through
collaborative efforts. Utilize help desk software to prioritize and
coordinate incoming requests efficiently Effectively diagnose and
troubleshoot network connectivity and storage system issues to
ensure seamless operations and data integrity Create an exemplary
customer service experience Collaborate closely with
cross-functional teams to provide support for multiple concurrent
projects. Foster strong relationships within production teams and
other IS&T departments across to facilitate collaboration and
effective communication Staying informed about emerging trends and
best practices develop and sustain a comprehensive understanding of
