Job Description:
At Walmart Inc., a leader in global retail, we are seeking a
Distinguished Software Engineer with a focus on Mobile Development
to join our IT & Data Management team in Bentonville, Arkansas.
This position is crucial for driving innovation in our mobile
commerce platforms, enhancing customer engagement through
cutting-edge mobile applications, and ensuring seamless user
experiences across our digital formats. As a Distinguished Software
Engineer, you will lead mobile development projects from
conceptualization to deployment, collaborate with cross-functional
teams, and push the boundaries of traditional retail with
transformative technology solutions. Design, implement, and
maintain advanced mobile applications for iOS and Android
platforms. Promote robust and maintainable code, clear
documentation, and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules.
Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers
to integrate mobile solutions with other business systems and
platforms. Lead the research on emerging mobile technologies and
applications to enhance the mobile commerce experience. Provide
technical guidance and mentorship to other team members, and
establish best practices for mobile development. Proficiency in
mobile development languages like Swift, Kotlin, and Java.
Expertise in iOS and Android operating systems. Experience with
mobile analytics and user experience optimization. Strong
understanding of RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end
services. Knowledge of modern mobile design patterns and cloud
messaging APIs. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance

Android) Professional Scrum Developer certification is a plus.
