Tatum's client, a private equity backed financial services
company, is in search of a hands-on Interim Chief Financial Officer
(CFO) to join the team for a 6 month engagement, with possible
extension to full time. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a
fast-paced, quickly evolving company to be an instrumental member
of the team in promoting company growth and vision in a booming
location: San Rafael, California

salary: $110 - 125 per hour

The day-to-day responsibilities of the interim CFO would
include: financial modeling, cash management, maintaining and
cultivating banking relationships, direct contact with the PE firm,
and provide all financial and accounting leadership through M&A
This position is 100% remote. The client is based in California,
however, fellow management is located across the US, including East
Coast. Location is not a deal breaker.
Progressive accounting and financial career at the CFO level
Bachelor's of Accounting/Finance and/or similar field required;
MBA or CPA preferred
Prior experience in Wealth Management, Asset Management, and/or
Broker Dealer/Registered Investment Advisor organizations
Strong knowledge and hands on experience with financial modeling
and cash management - building process and policies and
Previous experience working for Private Equity firm in a
leadership role at the portfolio company level
Proficiency in Excel and Quickbooks
$1-10B AUM organization experience
Ability and willingness to travel up to once a month for
meetings eventually when travel restrictions have lifted and
offices are re-opened
