The successful candidate will be joining our two internists and will either have the training and capacity to do their own ultrasounds or have an interest in developing these skills as well as endoscopy, etc. Our internists and many of our staff have been with us for over 12 years and have developed a culture of commitment to our patients and one another. Compassionate communication skills are a must as well as being a team player in our well-established collegial family.-- Our 12,000 square feet, state-of-the-art facility was specifically designed to provide emergency and specialty care and is equipped with 16 slice CT, endoscopy, new ultrasound, and advanced point of service laboratory equipment. We have specialists in internal medicine, surgery, ophthalmology, oncology and cardiology along with 7 experienced, full-time emergency doctors providing 24/7 emergency coverage.-- Our stable team of emergency and specialty doctors are looking for a committed colleague to support them in a collaborative and progressive approach to veterinary medicine.-- Pet Emergency & Specialty Center of Marin was founded in 1998. Our central Marin location in San Rafael, just off the 580 and 101 freeways, allows rapid access from almost any location in Marin, the East Bay, or North San Francisco. The location allows staff to enjoy the treasures of the area including wide open beaches, the vibrant cities of San Francisco, Oakland, and Berkeley, as well as the world-famous wine country of Sonoma and Napa valleys.
