PROGRAM & POSITION SUMMARY
Founded in 1853, Catholic Charities San Francisco (CCSF) operates
as an independent, non-profit organization and is the social
service agency of the San Francisco Archdiocese. Our mission is to
serve and advocate for the poor, the sick, the distressed,
children, youth, families, immigrants, and seniors, regardless of

Reporting to the Director of People and Culture, the Recruitment
Specialist will be responsible for the Agencys full life-cycle
recruiting, requisition management, candidate sourcing,
coordinating interviews, negotiating offers, and onboarding new
hires for Catholic Charities San Francisco. The Recruitment
Specialist will be required to have excellent communication and
networking skills, as well as high emotional intelligence. This
position will communicate directly with managers to anticipate
workforce needs and provide correct information to candidates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with members of the People and Culture department to design
and implement a first-class Talent Acquisition strategy that
supports the Agencys strategies.
Partner with hiring managers to screen candidates, coordinate
interviews, and onboarding new hires.
Partner with People and Culture Advisors to establish best-practice
talent acquisition process.
Regularly manage pipeline activity, maintain data integrity, and
proactively share data-centric updates with internal
Manage data and current client activity in the applicant tracking
Communicate important employment information during the delivery of

Education & Experience:
2+ years of recruiting experience
Experience screening resumes identifying fit
High proficiency in HRIS applications
Bachelors Degree Preferred
SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified
Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of compensation and benefits
Basic knowledge of employment laws and regulations
Knowledge of HRIS systems and reporting (UltiPro preferred)
Skill in tracking data on various aspects of the organization and
running reports for analysis and modification of workplace
policies, practices, etc.

Prerequisites Required Prior to the First Day of Employment:
Partial remote work available. Primary work location varies among
our programs in San Francisco, San Mateo, and Marin Counties. Some
travel is required.
This position involves a six-month probationary period.
This position may require some irregular schedules to include
evening and weekend work.
