PROGRAM & POSITION SUMMARY

Founded in 1853, Catholic Charities San Francisco (CCSF) operates as an independent, non-profit organization and is the social service agency of the San Francisco Archdiocese. Our mission is to serve and advocate for the poor, the sick, the distressed, children, youth, families, immigrants, and seniors, regardless of race, religion, color, sex/gender identity, age, physical or mental disability, national origin, sexual orientation, or any other basis covered by the law.
Reporting to the Director of People and Culture, the Recruitment Specialist will be responsible for the Agencys full life-cycle recruiting, requisition management, candidate sourcing, coordinating interviews, negotiating offers, and onboarding new hires for Catholic Charities San Francisco. The Recruitment Specialist will be required to have excellent communication and networking skills, as well as high emotional intelligence. This position will communicate directly with managers to anticipate workforce needs and provide correct information to candidates.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities:
Work with members of the People and Culture department to design and implement a first-class Talent Acquisition strategy that supports the Agencys strategies.
Partner with hiring managers to screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and onboarding new hires.
Partner with People and Culture Advisors to establish best-practice talent acquisition process.
Regularly manage pipeline activity, maintain data integrity, and proactively share data-centric updates with internal stakeholders.
Manage data and current client activity in the applicant tracking system.
Communicate important employment information during the delivery of employment offers.
Work with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance.
Manage expectations by communicating clearly and often to provide status updates, manage expectations, and solve roadblocks as they arise.
Manage the offer process with candidates including fingerprinting and onboarding.
Collaborate with People and Culture Advisors to deliver solutions to Catholic Charites programs.
Strong desire to learn the latest HR best practices and fanatical about self-improvement.
Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience:
2+ years of recruiting experience
Experience screening resumes identifying fit
High proficiency in HRIS applications
Bachelors Degree Preferred
SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of compensation and benefits
Basic knowledge of employment laws and regulations
Knowledge of HRIS systems and reporting (UltiPro preferred)
Recruitment knowledge
Skill in tracking data on various aspects of the organization and running reports for analysis and modification of workplace policies, practices, etc.
Knowledge of Equity (to include diversity and inclusion) principles and their relevance in all workplace functions and relationships
Ability to create and maintain good workingrelationships with internal and external constituents
Knowledge of onboarding best practices
Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
Ability to administer surveys, analyze data, and prepare reports and presentations accordingly

Ability to work independently and handle complex and confidential matters

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Partial remote work available. Primary work location varies among our programs in San Francisco, San Mateo, and Marin Counties. Some travel is required.
Additional Information:
This position involves a six-month probationary period.
This position may require some irregular schedules to include evening and weekend work.
