The Technology Capabilities Architecture (TCA) Team is part of centralized Enterprise Strategy & Architecture (ES&A) group within IT with a mission to help PG&E meet its strategic objectives and maximize the effectiveness of the business by standardizing, optimizing, and harmonizing the technology portfolio.Position SummaryReporting to the TCA Senior Manager, the successful candidate in the role will be accountable for collaboratively defining and driving the target state architecture for their assigned domain.Open positions would be within IT Service Management.If this sounds like you then you may be an ideal candidate for this role:Gets energized by the challengesIs proactive, collaborative, and self-motivatedHas a very strong sense of ownership and accountabilityHas tenacity for overcoming impediments and building consensusIs comfortable working in ambiguous environments and juggling multiple prioritiesHas excellent technical, analytical, and portfolio planning skillsHas strong leadership, communication, and influencing skillsKnows how to balance the long-term vision with short term mandatesJob Responsibilities:Analyze technology trends and spur innovationDevelop and maintain architectural artifacts including target architectures, short and long-term implementation roadmaps, architecture patterns, reference architectures, opinion papers, and architecture decision frameworksEstablish and drive enterprise strategies and roadmaps that enable a portfolio to support current and future business and technology capabilitiesWork with platform, operations, deployment, and other teams to ensure that the best options are considered for on-prem or public/private cloud hosted solutionsAssist the Agile Program Management Office (APMO) and Lean-Agile Center of Excellence (LACE) in maintaining Value Streams and Portfolio KanbanStandardize and optimize technology stack and usage across the enterprise through various architecture governance processesLead Architecture Community of Practice Working Groups for assigned domainsDrive enterprise collaboration across Lines of BusinessQualificationsMinimum:BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field10 years of cumulative experience as an Enterprise and/or Solution ArchitectDesired:Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related fieldExperience with architecting innovative cost-effective solutions in public cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Oracle, Salesforce) and on-prem private cloud environments (Dell)Excellent planning and organizational skillsExcellent analytical and technical skillsDemonstrate critical thinking and good judgmentStrong leadership and stakeholder relationship skillsThorough understanding of Lean/Agile principlesRelevant industry certifications such as AWS Solution Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, TOGAF, ITIL Master, SAFe Agilist, COBIT, and Six SigmaExperience working with or in the utility industryDeep desire to make a difference in people's lives by supporting the organizational mission, vision, and core values#featuredjob
