We are currently seeking a Preschool Inclusion Specialist to join our new inclusion team. This team has been created to provide extra support for children with special needs. - This innovative team will work in and out of the classroom. - They will collaborate to develop, implement, and evaluate specialized curriculum supporting children ages birth through five with developmental needs, health needs, and other challenging, complex behaviors. -
In this role, you will work one on one with students but also work to train and prepare classroom teachers in creating a more integrated and inclusive environment for all their children. - Responsibilities include providing direct intervention to children with special and suspected special needs, meeting with teaching teams, facilitating social skills and language groups for these children, and maintaining ongoing record keeping and data entry.
QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in CD or a related field, strong organizational skills, and experience teaching/supporting children with special needs in inclusive environments.
We are looking for a team player who is bilingual in Spanish (bilingual preferred) and has a Lead Teacher Permit or equivalent. College-level coursework in inclusion, special needs, and family systems is also desired. This is a 40-hour workweek position, with 20-25 hours a week in the classroom and 15-20 hours in team collaboration designing best practices and specific strategies to create positive outcomes for young children.

The salary range for this position is $28 to $32 per hour, with a signing bonus of up to $1000.
