oversight and guidance to subordinate staff in the following areas:
Transactions, benefits, special leave programs and position
control. The incimbant advises and works cooperatively with the

personnel-related issued in a manner consistent with governing
laws, rules, regulations and policies.Under the general direction
of the Staff Services Manager III, the Staff Services Manager II

The Staff Services Manager II works 40 hours, generally in an
office setting with elevator access and a cubicle with natural and
artificial lighting. The Incumbent in this position as frequent
contact with DIR staff, representatives from other State agencies,
and the public in person, by telephone, and/or email. Much of this
contact is of a sensitive and confidential nature. Being in a
stationary positon for long periods of time and extensive use of a
computer is required.
This office will be relocating in December 2025, to the New Labor
Agency Building in Downtown Sacramento, at 1416 9th Street.Minimum
