BioMarin's Technical Operations group is responsible for creating our drugs for use in clinical trials and for scaling production of those drugs for the commercial market. These engineers, technicians, scientists and support staff build and maintain BioMarin's cutting-edge manufacturing processes and sites, provide quality assurance and quality control to ensure we meet regulatory standards, and procure the needed goods and services to support manufacturing and coordinating the worldwide movement of our drugs to patients. Come join our team and make a meaningful impact on patients' lives.JOB DESCRIPTION/PROJECT:The GEO Business/Process Analyst Intern role will work within the Global External Operations (GEO) group, which has primary responsibility over all activities related to contract manufacturing. Specifically, the intern will work closely with the Associate Director, GEO Program Leader, to support business operations related to product development and commercialization of a drug delivery system. They will gain insight and experience into the end-to-end drug development process. This position will provide an opportunity to be hands-on in Global External Operations space and exercise important professional skills, including evaluation of contracts, understanding the decision-making process, how to work with external partners, and effectively communicating throughout a broader organization.Secondarily, this role will also lead continuous improvement initiatives within our technical, quality, and operations teams across critical processes that support how we prepare for and release material within our external supply chain nodes. Required Skills:

      • Student pursing a Bachelor's degree in fields related to Supply Chain/Logistics or Business or Industrial/Operations Engineering
      • Student must be returning to school in the Fall Term OR has graduated within the 1 year of the start of the program.
      • Must be available to work 40 hours a week

        • Weekly Speaker Seminar Series with Executive Staff. In the U.S., the hiring range for this position is $ 21.00 to $ 25.00 per hour.
