Construction Project Manager Location: San Rafael- United States Requisition ID: 17WD23815 Position Overview We're looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to join the CREFTS team at Autodesk. Your will be working with various teams within Autodesk including CREFTS Operations, Real Estate, Health, Safety and Security teams, HR, IT, Procurement and Legal teams as it pertains to capital projects. You will also be working with external project consultants, Architects/Designers, and Project Managers. Responsibilities* Internal business units/stakeholder project requirements* Project management of miscellaneous small projects with Ops teams* Manage and track all aspects/details of all projects including design, schedule, budget, and construction closeout* Assist in development and implementation of workplace guidelines to achieve a creative, functional and sustainable workplace* Selection, sourcing and management of external project consultants, contractors* Continuous quality control to improve consistency and quality of construction Build-out* Development of capital project budgets for fiscal year master planning* Financial oversight and budget management of projects* Monitoring of project delivery to meet corporate and customer deadlines* Management and oversight of project communications within Autodesk* Monthly and quarterly project status updates* Maintain and update project cost and data metrics* Management of project closeout and as built documents archive* Relationship management of Autodesk vendors and strategic partners* Work with internal product development to test or pilot products as requested* Timely administrative support Minimum Qualifications* Minimum of a BA/BS degree in business, engineering, architecture, or related field* LEED-AP and/or WELL-AP preferred - 2 years of proven track recording managing projects achieving a high level of environmental performance* 8 years of experience in project management in Corporate Real Estate and Facilities, preferable with some international experience* 10 years relevant work experience in a high-tech, fast paced environment* Prior experience with real estate portfolio transaction processes such as lease and work letter review, site survey and evaluation is required* Advanced depth of knowledge in Project Management including extensive understanding of forecasting, budgeting, planning, design, schedule and scope management* Strong and flexible management skills with ability to adapt to changes and workloads* Demonstrated ability to deliver best in class, value driven workplace solutions which can support Autodesk unique culture* Able to handle complexity, ambiguity, and time pressures in a fast paced environment* Enthusiasm and Willingness to work with multiple personality types* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal* Highly resourceful and organized and able to work within aggressive deadlines* Candidate must be "hands-on" and able to work "outside of the box" and see the "big picture"* Comfortable with public speaking and presenting to Customers and Executives* Ability to produce and deliver executive presentations, produce project status reports, and communicate deliverables to all stakeholders and senior management* Demonstrated taking ownership and responsibility for strategic planning, financial analysis/administration, real estate transaction management, and the design and construction of new and/or expanding corporate offices* Self-motivator; Able to work independently on difficult projects* Technology competent in using the following Software is required: MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, MS PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications* Technology familiarity in using the following software is preferred: AutoCAD and Revit* Competent MEP background is desired About Autodesk With Autodesk software, you have the power to Make Anything.
