- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and cultivate potential clients through proactive outreach, cold calling, and networking. This is a HUNTING sales role.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, develop long-term partnerships, and ensure customer satisfaction and renewals.
- Client Consultations: Meet with clients to understand their energy needs, risk tolerance, and how 5 can best serve them.
- Continuously Learning: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, effectively communicating the benefits of energy products and services at an executive level.
- Negotiation and Closing: Address client concerns and objections skillfully to close sales and meet revenue targets.
- Collaboration with Teams: Work with internal teams such as operations and management to ensure a seamless customer experience and align sales strategies with business goals.
- CRM Management: Use CRM tools like HubSpot to track leads, manage accounts, and optimize the sales process.What you'll bring:
- At least 3 years of experience in the energy industry (retail gas/electricity, sustainability, solar, demand response, etc.) or a related field.
- 3+ years of B2B outside sales experience.
- Proven ability to identify new business opportunities through prospecting and networking.
- Ability to work autonomously while embracing a team-oriented sales process, demonstrating resilience and determination.
- Effective collaboration skills and independent drive to succeed.
- Ambition, passion, teamwork, and grit.
- BA/BS degree preferred.$75,000 - $175,000 a yearBase Salary:
Typically ranges from $75,000 to $175,000 per year, with potential
for higher compensation based on experience and skills.Commission
Structure: Uncapped commissions, with top performers earning above
the base salary.Compensation packages are tailored to individual
