Biosciences (a division of LabCorp) is seeking a Clinical
Laboratory Scientist to join its team in the Cell Assay Department
of our Clinical Laboratory in South San Francisco. Monogram is one
of the few labs in the country doing cell based assay work with a
focus on personalized medicine. Cell based assay work is considered
the gold standard in virology. Come join Monogram where you will be
able to make important and unique contributions to improve the drug
vaccine process utilizing innovative technology. This position will
be responsible for virology testing performed in this section;
these include but are not limited to transfection, refeeding,
cellular infection, protocols, manipulation of 96 well plates,
operation of various dispensers and automated sample handling
systems. Monogram is committed to developing CLS’s skill sets
through one-on-one training and encourages cross training in other
areas. Work Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 7:00am - 3:30pm Job
Responsibilities · Perform routine and complex technical procedures
and functions according to departmental Standard Operating
Procedures · Perform appropriate QA/QC procedures · Operate and
maintain equipment and instruments according to manufacturer and
Monogram established procedures including: analysis of clinical
specimens, calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting
· May be appointed to oversee specialized processes or appointed to
a unique coordinating role, such as safety or QC · Actively
participate in continuing education and in service training
programs for licensure · Reagent and viral stock preparation and
qualification · May assist in development of new assays and
technology transfer from research and development · Review and
release results in the Laboratory Information System Minimum
Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Biological
science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or meet
local regulatory (CLIA & State) requirements · Current California
State Clinical Laboratory license required (CLS Generalist or
CGMBS) Additional Job Standards · Ability to work in a
collaborative, flexible environment · Excellent verbal and written
communication skills · Strong computer skills and attention to
detail · Color vision-ability to distinguish and identify different

$67.00 per hour All job offers will be based on a candidate’s
skills and prior relevant experience, applicable
degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
